Stunning Mint Condition IBANEZ JEM 77P-BFP + Original CASE + Multitool + Tremolo Arm
At A Glance
Steve Vai’s JEM series of guitars have become iconic designs in the quarter of a century they’ve been in production. It takes an eccentric genius like Steve to create an instrument with a Tree of Life inlay covering the entire fretboard and a large carrying handle cut into the body! It’s certainly an unusual combination but most agree that these flamboyant guitars look great! Although it is built for excessive shred (of course), lots of players are surprised at how versatile they are. The original floral JEM, the 77FP model, came out in 1988 and had an actual piece of fabric (reputedly Steve's favorite curtains!) under the clear coat for the unique finish. Three years later a blue variant was released and proved just as collectible. These have long been revered models amongst guitar collectors and of course, are increasingly hard to find. This model is a tribute to those classic guitars. It has an updated and luxurious blue finish and an upgraded Edge Zero tremolo system. With Gravity Storm pickups it is a tonal monster too.
Features We Love:
DiMarzio Pickups
The pickups are a more recent set of Steve's signature models, the Gravity Storm humbuckers. They are fatter and warmer sounding than his famed Evolution pickups. The single-coil Evolution pickup in the middle keeps the HSH flexibility.
Wizard Neck with KTS Titanium Rods
A Premium neck constructed from 5 piece maple/walnut gives a fast and comfortable surface. The KTS Titanium rods contained within give a high degree of support and reliability.
Edge-Zero Tremolo
With its low profile and comfortable playing surface, this tremolo is fully equipped for all of the tremolo acrobatics you wish to perform. From low dives to fast flutters, all the tricks can be carried out accurately and without having to worry about tuning stability.
Pros:
- A JEM with a completely different look
- A high performing guitar with top-end hardware
- Ideal for the pro player or Vai enthusiast
What's Included:
- Ibanez JEM77P-BFP Blue Floral
- ORIGINAL rigid shell soft case
