BUYING A CONSIGNMENT JEM?

We are now offering 2 types of sales.

Buying direct through us - These are guitars currently in our store which we have in our possession and handle all aspects of the sale 
Consignment sales - From verified partners/collectors and enthusiasts of jem guitars. This allows us to sell jems from areas we cannot import from. If you have come to this page the guitar you are looking at is most likely a consignment guitar as it will be clearly marked with the country its based in.

Security and safety is our number one concern. All sellers are vetted by SellMyJem, all guitars are checked for authenticity, we ensure that proof of ownership and verification of address have been provided before we allow any listing. We check each guitar for authenticity based on our years of experience from the photographs supplied by the sellers. Should there be any dispute or issues, all deals are paid via PayPal and any disputes will be handled by this 3rd party payment provider with industry standard Buyer Protection on purchases

All sellers agree to ship in accordance with our Packaging Guidelines and Returns Policy

ACCURATE DESCRIPTIONS - We ensure each guitar carries our famed "Condition Reports" so you know exactly what you are buying
CITES COMPATIBLE - Don't let the New Rules on distribution of guitars stop you from buying your guitar. All guitars are sold within CITES borders so no export  permits are required. Country of origin is listed and shipments will be made within these borders (EU/US/CANADA etc).
REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT - Secure your guitar for as little as a 10% deposit, held on account until you have received and are happy with your jem

​We pride ourselves on being the safest place to buy an Ibanez Jem and as part of this we require all sellers to be verified and have guitars inspected by us before listing through our consignment service. They are required to provide ID, Proof of ownership and address before we accept a listing to help protect you. All

STEP 1 OFFER

We are the go to place for buying an Ibanez Jem and have stacks of specifications and information on your Jem. 

If you have found a jem your after the first step is to make your offer using the buttons available on the store page or any of our contact forms

All reasonable offers are submitted to the seller for consideration and if a counter offer is made you will be notified

STEP 2 DEPOSIT

If your offer has been accepted, you will be required to pay a deposit to Sell My Jem.

STEP 3 COMPLETION

Its time to meet your seller!

Introductions will be made and instructions on how to complete your purchase through PayPal (Do not accept any other payment method) 

At this point the sale becomes an agreement between you and your seller. We now step aside as you finalise any details with the seller and complete the purchase
