About the UV777P Universe Guitars
The UV777P is a Universe series seven string solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1998. It is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai which was made in Japan by FujiGen. In the US market is was referred to as simply the UV777although that name refers to an earlier model.
The introduction of the UV777P in 1998 was a full-fledged return for the UV series after a production halt in 1995 and the sobered UV7S model in 1997. For the UV777P Ibanez went all out with full body and neck binding, disappearing pyramid fingerboard inlay and a special "Light Without Heat" pyramid logo behind the bridge.
In terms of specifications, the UV777P went through a couple of changes: In 2003 the Lo Pro Edge 7 tremolo was replaced with the new Edge Pro 7; in 2005 it got a five-ply neck like most Japanese made models. Addition for 2010 is the return of the Lo Pro Edge 7 tremolo.

GUITAR CONDITION REPORT
Its always nice to see a return of a friend. This was originally a SellMyJem collection guitar that was sold to a very careful owner. Originally, this was a collectors guitar. Its history is very simple. It was bought new and has been kept in the case ever since seeing only light home play a handful of times only. This still has the plastic on some components. You will not find a better example of this guitar anywhere else and not a chance at this incredible price. The previous collector may have strummed this guitar and lightly played it but there are almost no signs of visible playing anywhere on this guitar. Since being sold at SellMyJem the new owner has been equally careful playing at home for a couple of hours since ownership and for a light dusting.

Tremolo - Still with a fantastic mirror finish, No blemishing and no pitting on the tremolo unit. Its as new
Neck - Original 7 string Neck Straight as an arrow
Electronics - As you would expect in a mint instrument there are no issues with electronics. Sounds like a dream and the pickups scream!!
Body work- No dings, No scratches, No dents or bruising in the acrylic or on the body/neck or notorious neck pocket.
Case - This guitar comes with the original hard Case. Almost as new, with some very light surface scratches in some parts,
