ITS HERE! The Holy Grail of 7VWH’s for those looking for that Ebony fretboard, in all our years dealing in Jems we have not come across a better Ebony. Virtually Mint condition, the perfect collectors example of this iconic and original design of the 7vwh! If you have been looking at getting yourself an original Ebony 7VWH then this is an outstanding opportunity to own one of the rarest and the very best 7vwh they ever made.
The ebony fretboard Jem is arguably one of the very best Jem 7VWHs ever, created out of the Fuji-Gen company in Japan and is now becoming ever more rare since they discontinued this perfect combination in 2003. Ebony is still the preferred choice of Steve Vai who still uses this to this day and the fretboard of choice for the iconic “Flo” guitar. Unfortunately the fretboard was discontinued in 2003 when Ibanez switched to using cheaper but more readily available rosewood fretboards. The Ebony fretboard also allows the guitar to travel without the need for CITES permits and can therefore cross borders without additional documentation or delay! A huge bonus for future resale value!
This 7VWH features the very best Low Pro Edge. This is a stunning example made in 1999, the Ebony fretboard is remarkable to see and play with a high quality finish unlike any other VWH. Other features of this particular VWH of this periodare the Exceptional evolution pickups and 1 piece Maple neck and the original “JEM” neck profile. In most collectors books the period between 1993-2001 was the pinnacle of the 7VWH and you can claim your pass to guitar heaven right here.

GUITAR CONDITION REPORT
This was owned, displayed and rarely played. Home use only by a careful owner and in stunning condition. The guitars tremolo system is in fantastic condition which is astounding for a 20 year old guitar! All hardware is in exceptionally good condition
Condition: Fit and Finish
A near perfect example of the Jem 7VWH with Ebony fretboard. The playability of this guitar is fantastic and the sound stunning.
Fret Life/Fretboard - Fret-life is still strong with plenty of life left in them. No issues with the frets or fretboard or intonation, its a guitar ready to be played by the new owner. I have also freshly oiled the fretboard for the new owner
Tremolo - A good finish, No blemishing with only very small signs of light play present on the tremolo unit and very little in the way of fade in the gold. Take a look at the close up pictures if in any doubt.
Neck - Original Neck, Straight as an arrow with an incredible feel and grain. Its an Ebony fretboard, much darker and luxurious.
Electronics - Sounds like a dream and these pick ups absolutely scream! You will not believe the power of these EVO pickups when you plug them in for the first time, its no wonder they couldn't be ignored!
Body work- A almost perfect example of the 7VWH with no chips, or cracks. No Neck pocket cracks or wood issues of any kind, its virtually new. This guitar has no obvious dings/dents or chips which for the age is a staggering achievement!
Case - This guitar comes with a fantastic "Signature" Ibanez case, the originla 1999 case supplied with the new 7vwh to complete this collectors package. Case is in full working order and great conditon.

Your guitar will go through the following process regardless of international or domestic shipping. I am happy to ship to anywhere in the world and have experience shipping to most international destinations.
All guitars are wrapped to the highest standard, inside the case the guitar will be bubble wrapped and any accessories individually packaged inside the case. Nothing loose will be left in the case. The guitar is then wrapped a total of 3 times in bubble before a strong brown paper incases the the whole guitar. I have been shipping guitars all over the world for 10 years with no problems reported.

About the Jem 7VWH Specifications/reviews
The JEM7V has gone through several specification changes: the Lo Pro Edge tremolo was replaced with the new Edge Pro in 2003; in 2004 the ebony fingerboard was replaced with a more generic rosewood one; finally in 2005 the JEM7V got a five-ply neck like most Japanese made Ibanez guitars.
From 2002 until 2004 the JEM7V was also available with a sparkle blue finish as the JEM7V SBL.
For 2010 the tremolo is replaced again, this time by the original Edge tremolo. The Edge was introduced in 1986 and has been used for various JEM models, but it is the first time it is featured on the JEM7V.
