Not to be confused with the recent re-issued premium model! This is the real deal, Japanese made mastery in a guitar.
The 77 Floral Guitars are all incredibly rare, amazing and beautiful instruments. With 2 variants the BFP was only available for a far more limited amount of time and was in production from 91-96 before being discontinued and so fill in the early 90’s Jem manufacturing also referred to as the “Golden years” of guitar making . This particular BFP is the very first generation of the model and features the original Jim Dunlop 6140 frets, direct mount pick ups and stunning PAF pro pickups that absolutely scream.
Many of the old BFP’s that have not been protected suffer from a yellowing of the blue caused by a discolouring of the lacquer creating an odd green hue, this guitar suffers none of these problems and looks as blue as the day it was made!

Condition: Fit and Finish
I don't expect to come across a BFP in better condition for a long time. We had contemplated putting this particular model within the vault private collection. Its that good! The PAF pros can sometimes be a little hit an miss depending on their mounting/height/coil wrap but this guitar has some serious power! Please take a look at the HD pictures on here to confirm the condition for yourself. This guitar has been virtually untouched for 15 years and as such it is highly recommended this be set up professionally either by ourselves or a guitar tech if you intend to play this. As these are collectables they are generally sold as seen to prevent and wear on the components. Please bare this in mind when purchasing. All guitars bought at asking include a full set up. Fret Life/Fretboard - This guitar has had very little use in the past, plenty of life in those frets. The fretboard is exquisite with a stunning maple fretboard. no discolouration
Tremolo System- Still with a fantastic finish, A almost no evidence of use!
Neck - Original Neck Straight as an arrow with an incredible feel and grain. No cracks or wood problems.
Electronics - This particular guitar really shines here, the perfect PAF pros were fitted to this particular model and the sound of this guitar is that of the very best Jems we have ever had the pleasure of testing. As you would expect in a BFP mint instrument there are no issues with electronics. Sounds like a dream, pickup selector snaps into place and these pick ups absolutely scream!
Body work- One of the best bodywork BFPs we have come across. Only the tiniest of neck pocket crack (Laquer deep only) on the inner most edge. A small amount of wear can be seen on the neck plate, minimal in nature and still very much gloss black!
Case - This guitar comes with period correct hard case. Only a minimal signs of ware from storage, minimal marking. all elements flawlessly functional.

Set Up and Service
Every guitar sold at the full asking price on Sell My Jem will come with a complimentary set up procedure in which your guitar will go through the following process:
Shipping
I take shipping guitar very seriously and make sure it is bomb proof and all international shipping quotes come with £1000 worth of insurance for damage in transit. All are tracked and you will be issued a tracking number as soon as payment has been received and delivery arranged
Your guitar will go through the following process regardless of international or domestic shipping. I am happy to ship to anywhere in the world and have experience shipping to most international destinations.
All guitars are wrapped to the highest standard, inside the case the guitar will be bubble wrapped and any accessories individually packaged inside the case. Nothing loose will be left in the case. The guitar is then wrapped a total of 3 times in bubble wrap before a strong brown paper incases the the whole guitar.
