We have come across a few DNA’s in our time and whilst each one is special in their own right when the case cracked open on this one we couldn't bring ourselves to list this in the store and we all still get a rush seeing this guitar. Its one of the best DNA swirls we have come across.

This is truly an amazing Jem and contains one of the best swirls we have come across, the jewel of any Ibanez jem collectors, the DNA often tops the list of every collectors wish list and with only 300 in existence in the world collectors hang on to these and for good reason!
As time ticks on the 2KDNA simply doesn't come around any more and those that do are often snapped up by eager collectors!
We still get excited just looking at the beauty of it. This is the Holy Grail of Jems and an absolutely beautiful work of art containing the blood of Steve Vai within the swirl itself.
As any collector will know, the value of these guitars has sky rocketed over recent years and they are set to continue that incredible growth over the coming years. The collectors know the specs and how good they are so i will detail those at the end of this listing if you want to know more about this incredible guitar. This was a guitar that was built with no expense spared.

Guitars History
I believe I am the second owner of this DNA which was bought from Rich at IBANEZRULES. I've had a fair number of swirls JEMs and UV and at some point left these models until I saw that DNA. This guitar remained virtually near dead mint with about 50 fingernail scratches on the guard at a steep angle below the bridge pickup, and was a case queen, until that the brother of the owner who was autistic and unsupervised got into the case and handled the guitar for a few minutes...This was enough to do quite a bit. So it remains like new minus some sracthes on the back (only one of the front). The worst, a bad shave off the back bottom edge into the wood an inch long at the tip of the control cover. It was also hit on the strap pin to leave a fog spot around it.
Fit & Finish
This would be a pure case Queen if it had not those few dings which, hopefully are on the back (the one on the front is quite lost in the finish and you can only see it Under the right angle and on close inspection).
Fret Board/ Fret Life
The frets, fingerboard and neck are like new. This guitar really hasn't seen much playtime is its life.
Tremolo
Tremolo is like new and does not show any sign of playtime.
Neck
Feel like new.
Electronics
Everything works perfect. Amazing sound as you would expect on the Queen of JEMs!
Bodywork/Paint

Case
Like new inside with that typical smell of late 90's / early 00 cases! Some white traces on the outside. Lockling system is working but has not been set up.

Shipping
We take shipping guitars of this beauty very seriously and make sure that our consignment sellers honour our shipping policy. All guitars come with £1000 worth of insurance for damage in transit. All parcels are tracked in accordance with PayPal protection guidelines and you will be issued a tracking number as soon as payment has been received and delivery arranged
All guitars are wrapped to the highest standard, inside the case the guitar will be bubble wrapped and any accessories individually packaged inside the case. Nothing loose will be left in the case. The guitar is then wrapped a total of 3 times in bubble wrap before a strong brown paper incases the the whole guitar. Card board boxes are sometimes used dependent on the case and size

As these guitars are not handled by Sell My Jem guitars are sold as seen unless otherwise stated. You can of course always request set ups from the seller directly.

About the Jem 2KDNA Guitar: Specifications/reviews

The Ibanez JEM2K, also known as the JEM2KDNA, is a JEM series guitar model and signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai. It is a special limited edition model issued to commemorate the new millennium. Special features include a DNA multicolor swirl finish, luminous fingerboard inlays and pickguard and special colored pickups. Like previous JEM swirl finishes, the DNA swirl was done by Darren Johansen. The red paint contains actual DNA (blood) of Steve vai. Only 300 were made and considered one of the rarest and most exquisite guitars Ibanez have ever created.
Other features of the JEM2K include a basswood body, Super Wizard neck, DiMarzio pickups and a Lo Pro Edge tremolo.
Beside the JEM2K, two other Millennium Models were made: the JS2K Joe Satriani model and GB2K George Benson model.
