Sold Pending payment. Collector ALERT Ibanez Jem 7BSB 2000 Near Mint Condition + Hard Case + Tremolo Arm
This guitar has now SOLD. To avoid missing out on the next Jem make sure your signed up to our mailing list! They get notified first!
The holy grail for a collector who is only looking for the very best examples of Ibanez jems. This 7BSB is in near mint condition with almost no playtime. And with a natural finish thats designed to fade with playing like a fine wine. You can really tell!.
So this one is really something special and I'm gonna be very sad to let her go. If you know BSB's you will know that since they discontinued its very hard to find one without significant wear or fading of the paint due to the sun. The lack of finish really makes these a difficult guitar to find in good condition. The basswood body, lo-Pro Edge tremolo and DiMarzio pickups really help this guitar to scream. The guitar is of truly exceptional build quality.
This guitar ships with an equally mint M100c Case that fits like a glove. Also comes with the original tremolo arm which is in exceptional almost unplayed condition.
FANTASTIC CONDITION IBANEZ JEM 7BSB (BURNT STAINED BLUE) 2000
GUITAR CONDITION REPORT
Guitars History
The previous owner really knows how to look after guitars. Originally owned by a guitar tech and then passed on to a passionate Ibanez Jem Collector this guitar has been spending most of its time set in its case for with only occasional airing on a hanger, rarely played, but rather admired. When you open the case for the first time its really quite a sight. It will be some time before you will find a BSB in this condition again, don't miss out!
Condition: Overall
The guitar has virtually no wear from playing, anywhere, please see the pictures to confirm for yourself. The only evidence of playing is a very slight and natural fade along the neck that really adds to the character of the guitar however this is very minimal and the Stain is still vibrant across the neck. The rest of the guitar has minimal signs of wear, take a look at the pictures to confirm for yourself this unbelievable beauty..
Fret Life/Fretboard - Huge amount of fret-life and playability in this guitar. Close up pictures are there for you to confirm
Fade - There is a slight fade on the back of the neck and a natural highlight along the outer edge of the BSB. The guitar has aged beautifully, like a fine wine!
Tremolo - Original Tremolo. Great example with the almost little wear along the tremolo. A very mild pimpling present on the low E side Fantastic condition for the year , a very smooth feel to the whole component.
Neck - Original Neck Straight as an arrow with an incredible feel and grain to the maple wood. No cracks in the neck behind the nut. These necks are legendary for a reason and this one is indeed extra special being from 20 years ago!
Electronics - The electronics scream! The original pick ups are still in place and sound absolutely incredible!
Body Paint - Fantastic condition paintwork throughout the guitar. This is a burnt stained finish that was designed to age over the years naturally. Please take a look t the pictures to confirm the level of colour and natural ageing. This guitar has been exceptionally well cared for and I found a few small signs in the body work that I would call imperfections. I have highlighted them in the pictures and are less than 1mm in size.
Please take a look at the Store Website for more high quality images from all angles!
Case - An exceptional M100C almost brand new with only minimal signs of ageing from storage. This case functions beautifully and fits like a glove.
